Maverick’s Mission was started in honor of our
son Maverick Baker who passed away in
February 2022.
Maverick was a remarkable kid who brought
out the best in everyone. Maverick’s contagious
smile and laugh left a lasting impression on
everyone he met. He enjoyed spending time
with his friends and family. Maverick was a
very gifted athlete who gave his very best and
always had a team first mentality. Maverick
enjoyed meeting new people and was always
willing to start the conversation. He lived life to
the fullest and wanted the best for everyone.
Maverick’s Mission is to continue to provide
help and support to individuals who need it.
Mental Health Awareness, charity work,
educational programs for mental health and
suicide prevention, public speakers, peer
support groups, coach training, a team
counselors / social workers who will assist in
getting anyone help that reaches out.
Fundraising for organizations, programs, and
individuals that could use help.
Maverick’s Mission will also have a program
called Mav’s Voice. Mav’s Voice will be a
educational program to discuss his story and
how his story is important to promote change
and kindness within schools, organizations, and
communities.Mav's Voice is a program for schools, communities and special events that shares Mavericks story from start to finish. As much as the story is about Maverick, the unique approach in the presentation covers so many topics that each individual that attends can relate. This very impactful presentation has been very well received.
